Always... Patsy Cline Opens Friday, April 3rd

Eric was recently cast as guitarist/ vocalist in the upcoming production of Always...Patsy Cline at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. A Visit to Eisenhower Elementary in Coon Rapids, MN

Eric visited and performed for Cathy Yseth's 5th grade music class  on Thursday, February 19th. After performing a variety of musical exerpts, Eric answered questions and took requests  from many  of the bright young minds eager to learn about music. The event was attended by Sue Austreng, a reporter from ABC newpaper, an Anoka County based media company. Look for the full story in an upcoming publication.

Eric Richards performs in Altar Boyz

Eric made his debut at  the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre this weekend as a guitarist in Altar Boyz; a hilarious parody of boy bands, religion and pop culture. Eric will join the show again later this winter. As always, check the shows page for current schedule.

Friends of Freedom make debut performance at 3M Auditorium

Eric accompanied Iraq war vet and two time purple heart recipient Josh Revak and Baghdad native Fadi Fadhil at the Vets for Freedom Fundraiser at the Minnesota History Center on 11/23. The event featured a silent auction, guests speakers and a concert featuring a debut performance by newly formed trio Friends of Freedom. 11/24/2008

Eric has joined the crew as a guitarist in the upcoming production of Altar Boyz. The show will run from Nov. 7th through March 2009. Check Eric's shows page for scheduling info.   11/12/2008   

"Christmas With You" currently in production

Eric is currently co-producing an album by local trio Steffl & Wick entitled "Christmas With You." The group is recording at Good Guy Music studios in Andover, MN where Eric is studio operations manager. The album slated for an early December 2008 release features a mix of contemporary and traditional christmas tunes. A special thanks to co-producer and engineer Jonathan Earl for his valued expertise.  10/19/2008

Eric Richards to sing the National Anthem at Rally for the Republic on 9/1

As many of you know, Texas congressman Dr. Ron Paul (R) from Lake Jackson Texas will be holding a Rally For the Republic on Sept. 1-2. Events to be held at various locations throughout the Twin Cities will attract an expected crowd of 15,000-20,000. Eric will perform the National Anthem at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN before Dr. Paul's speech on 9/1.   8/24/2008

Eric Richards and Josh Revak Return from Washington D.C.

Eric and Josh would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the men and women in units G3/5/7 of the United States Army for their gracious invitation to perform at Bolling Air Force Base on 7/25. Both men were presented with a General's coin by LTG JD Thurman for their services on that day.   7/27/2008
